Hyderabad gold, silver prices fall sharply

HYDERABAD: Gold and silver prices declined sharply in international markets, reflecting in domestic rates.
According to market data at 11:55 pm Indian Standard Time on Thursday, the price of one ounce (31.10 grams) of pure gold fell by $282 to $4,608. Silver prices dropped by $5 to $71 per ounce.
Global bullion rates drop amid overnight trade trends
The decline in international bullion prices led to a sharp correction in domestic markets, traders said.

In the Hyderabad bullion market, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by nearly ₹8,000 compared to the previous rate, settling at ₹1,50,640. The price of one kilogram of silver declined by about ₹16,000 to ₹2,37,210.
Traders attributed the fall to movements in global markets.
