HYDERABAD: A 13-year-old girl chased away a burglar who attempted to break into a neighbour’s house in Bhagatsingh Nagar, Chintal, on Thursday. The incident, captured on CCTV, has gone viral on social media.
Police laud girl’s courage
According to police, the man entered a house when no one was home. Bhavani, who lives in the upper portion of the same building, noticed suspicious movement and went downstairs to question him. Startled, the burglar ran out, with Bhavani shouting and chasing him down the street.
The CCTV footage shows the girl pursuing the intruder until he fled the locality. Police appreciated her courage and are investigating the case.
