Hyderabad civic bodies double indoor stadium usage fees
HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has decided to increase the usage fees for indoor stadiums and playgrounds.
The daily fee for the Katedan indoor stadium has been increased from ₹25,000 to ₹50,000. The fee for playgrounds and indoor stadiums in other areas has been raised from ₹11,000 to ₹25,000.
Malkajgiri civic body to set up biodiversity committee
The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) has also decided to constitute a Biodiversity Management Committee (BMC) to promote biodiversity conservation within its jurisdiction.
Separate standing committee meetings of the GHMC and MMC were held on Friday under the chairmanship of municipal administration and urban development special chief secretary and special officer Jayesh Ranjan.
The committees approved the items listed on their respective agendas. GHMC commissioner R.V. Karnan, MMC commissioner T. Vinay Krishna Reddy and heads of various departments attended the meetings.
GHMC considers proposal involving Keshavgiri land
Among the key GHMC matters was a proposal involving 1,000 square yards of GHMC land at Keshavgiri in Chandrayangutta.
