Hyderabad traffic alert: Severe traffic disruptions for 2 months at Gachibowli

Gachibowli Traffic Alert Severe Disruptions For 2 Months

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad traffic police have announced a traffic advisory due to the construction of the SRDP Shilpa Layout Phase-II flyover at Gachibowli Junction. The essential work being undertaken by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will likely impact the traffic flow for a period of two months, starting from January 29.

The motorists will likely experience slower traffic at pillar no. 24 at Gachibowli due to the construction activities. In view of these activities, the city traffic police have advised the commuters coming from ZPHS towards Gachibowli to take diversion at Rolling Hills towards Shilpa flyover or Radisson Hotel towards Gachibowli via DLF, IIIT Junction.

The vehicular traffic coming from Gachibowli towards Kondapur will be diverted at Gachibowli via DLF road โ€“ Radisson Hotel towards Kondapur.

Last October, a similar traffic advisory was issued and the Gachibowli flyover was closed for all traffic. The closure of the important flyover had caused significant disruptions for commuters and local residents.
