Hyderabad FC look to turn the tables against Mumbai FC

ISL 2024-25: Mumbai City FC and Hyderabad FC will meet in their upcoming Indian Super League 2024-25 clash at the Mumbai Football Arena this Saturday. Mumbai team had defeated Hyderabad by 3-0 in their last meeting on April 1, 2024.

Mumbai City FC, nicknamed Islanders, enter this game on the back of a 0-3 defeat to Punjab FC earlier this week. The team has scored 10 points from their eight fixtures and is currently placed at 10th place in the ISL table.

Hyderabad FC will be aiming for a win as the team lost the previous game against Odisha FC with a score of 0-6 and thus the team has gained seven points so far and is placed at 11th position on the ISL table.

Mumbai FC has an impressive track record in the ongoing season. The Islanders have not gone down to their opponents Hyderabad team during their last four outings. Islanders head coach Petr Kratky’s side is raring to go against Hyderabad FC as they aim to accomplish a new feat by winning successive games against the opponents.

Hyderabad FC boasted an unbeaten streak between December 2022 and January 2023 (4 games) but it was ended by Mumbai City on February 4, 2023 (1-1 draw). Both the teams have played 10 games in the past ISL. Islanders have won three games while Hyderabad FC emerged victorious on two occasions and remaining five fixtures have ended in a draw. Meanwhile, Hyderabad FC head coach Thangboi Singto expressed hope that his team will turn the tables in today’s game.
