Hyderabad Collector announces up to 90% subsidy on electric vehicles for SC youth

HYDERABAD: Young men and women from the Scheduled Caste (SC) can apply for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers with up to 90 per cent subsidy, the Hyderabad District Collector announced on Thursday, March 19.
The scheme aims to promote eco-friendly transport and provide self-employment opportunities, the official release stated.
The District Collector’s office said interested candidates must submit their applications by March 24, 2026. Eligible applicants can apply through the official portal provided by the authorities.
“This initiative is designed to encourage clean energy usage and support entrepreneurship among the SC community,” the release added.
