Bystanders and police shifted him to a nearby hospital, where he died later on Sunday evening.

After the crash, the driver left the vehicle at the scene and escaped. Police suspect overspeeding and negligence led to the accident.
A case has been registered based on a complaint by Sahaja. Police said teams are working to trace and arrest the accused, who is on the run.
CCTV footage inconclusive due to poor lighting
Police said CCTV cameras captured the accused fleeing the scene. However, poor lighting conditions have prevented clear identification so far.
