Hyderabad police book 11 in drug case
HYDERABAD: Police have booked 11 persons in a drug case, with five of them testing positive in drug screening conducted during the investigation.

Police said drug tests returned positive for Tiruveedula Arjun Reddy, Kaushik Ravi, Ritesh Reddy, Namit Sharma and Panjugula Rohit Reddy. Officials said the tests were conducted as part of the inquiry into suspected drug consumption.
The positive results were recorded after samples were collected during the investigation, police said.
FIR lists 11 accused in investigation
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the accused include Moravineni Ramesh, Putta Mahesh Kumar, Panjugula Rohit Reddy, Varamachaneni Shravan Kumar, Namit Sharma, Panjugula Ritesh Reddy, Nallapaneni Vijay Krishna, Kaushik Ravi, Tiruveedula Arjun Reddy, R. Priyanka Reddy and Silvari Sharath Kumar.
Police said further investigation is underway to establish the source of the drugs and the extent of involvement of those named in the FIR.
Officials added that action will be taken based on the investigation findings.
