Hyderabad doctor arrested after ₹3 lakh drugs seized from home

HYDERABAD: Excise enforcement officials seized narcotics worth ₹3 lakh from the house of a doctor in Hyderabad on Monday. The accused, identified as Jan Paul, was living on rent in Musheerabad.
Police said they received information that Jan Paul was selling drugs from his residence. Following a search, excise special enforcement bureau (SEB) teams found various narcotics, including OG Kush, MDMA, cocaine, and Hawk oil.
Three others booked for supplying drugs
Investigators said three men Pramod, Sandeep, and Sharath, all from Hyderabad had been procuring the drugs from Delhi and Bengaluru. They allegedly stored the substances at Jan Paul’s house for sale and gave him a share for free in exchange for helping with distribution.
Police have arrested Jan Paul and registered a case against the three absconding suspects. “Efforts are on to apprehend the remaining accused soon,” officials said.
