Hyderabad Couple Found Murdered On Narsingi Temple Hilltop

Hyderabad: A shocking case of double murder has come to light in Puppalguda of Narsingi locality in Ranga Reddy district on Tuesday. The couple was found brutally killed on the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple hilltop by locals.

The local youngsters who had gone to the hilltop to fly kites on Sankranti festival alerted the police by dialing 100 after they found the dead bodies.

According to preliminary reports, the assailants appeared to have used large rocks to bludgeon the victims in a heinous manner. While the woman was confirmed to have been murdered, it is suspected that the man might have taken his own life after committing the crime. However, police have not ruled out other possibilities and are investigating the double murder case from multiple angles.

DCP Srinivas of Rajendranagar reached the scene along with police teams and cordoned off the area for investigation. The dog squads and forensic experts were seen gathering evidence from the crime scene.

In a separate incident, the LB Nagar police apprehended four persons for carrying drugs. The police team recovered five grams of MDMA from them. The accused persons have been identified as Ajay, a resident of Jilleguda, Raju of Suryapet, Dasari of Suryapet and Mahender of Karmanghat. As per reports, the police found them moving in a suspicious manner while they were conducting a vehicle check. They found them in possession of the drugs.
