Cloudy skies bring respite from chilly weather in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Cloudy skies have been hanging over Hyderabad for the last two days giving a relief from chilly weather to the city residents. The city has also witnessed a dip in the temperatures.
India Meteorological Department, Hyderabad (IMD-H) had predicted that skies on Thursday will be generally cloudy and mist or hazy conditions very likely to prevail during morning hours. It added that light rain or drizzle is very likely to occur towards evening.
The temperature has reached a high of 26 degree celsius while the night temperature will hover around 21 degree celsius. The air quality index stands at 68 in parts of Hyderabad today, which is in the ‘moderate zone’. According to the data from automatic weather stations of Telangana Development Planning Society (TSDPS), the temperature on Wednesday remained around 20.
Hyderabad is expected to experience partly cloudy skies over the next few days. December 27 and 28 will see partly cloudy skies with haze, with minimum temperatures around 18 degrees Celsius and maximums of 30 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, Siddipet recorded 3.3 mm of rainfall between Wednesday evening and early hours of Thursday. In Hyderabad, light showers ranging between 2.5 mm and 1 mm were recorded at Hayathnagar, Marredpally, Uppal, Moula Ali, Kapra, Shaikpet, Quthbullapur, Malkajgiri, Balanagar, Musheerabad etc.
