Two arrested for vandalising mobile shop in Chaderghat after dispute

HYDERABAD: The Chaderghat police arrested two persons on March 26 for allegedly vandalising a mobile shop on Muslim Maternity Hospital Road following a dispute earlier this week.
The accused were identified as Mohammed Arbaz, 23, and Javeed Khan, 30. Police said three others Mohammed Gaffar, Mohd Salman and Imran were also involved in the incident.
Dispute escalated into threat and damage at shop
According to police, Arbaz and another person went to Bismillah Mobile Shop on March 23 and picked up a quarrel with an employee, Mohd Ghouse. During the altercation, Arbaz allegedly brandished a knife and threatened to kill Ghouse over previous enmity.
Ghouse escaped without injury, police said. However, the accused allegedly damaged property inside the shop.
Case registered under BNS, Arms Act provisions
Police registered a case under Sections 109(1) (attempt to murder), 324(6) (mischief), 329(4) (criminal trespass), and 351(3) (criminal intimidation), read with Section 3(5) (common intention) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
They also invoked Section 25(1-B)(a) of the Arms Act.
Further investigation is underway, police said.
