Hyderabad: The 37th Hyderabad Book Fair is all set to captivate book lovers with over 320 stalls at Kaloji Kala Kshetram (NTR Stadium). It promises a literary extravaganza from December 19 to 29. The fair will be open daily from 12 Noon to 9:00 PM, offering visitors ample opportunity to explore a diverse range of literary offerings.

Announcing the event at a press conference, Book Fair President Yakub and committee members highlighted the significance of the literary festival. Honorary advisors, including Justice Sudarshan Reddy, MLC Professor Kodanda Ram, Senior Editor Ramachandramurthy, and Professor Rama Melkote, emphasized the enduring importance of books in the digital age.

MLC Kodandaram, honorary advisor of the Hyderabad Book Fair Society, asserted that the popularity of physical books remains undiminished, despite technological advancements and the rise of e-books. He expressed confidence that the number of readers continues to grow, even in the internet era.

Book Fair Secretary Vasu urged the public to participate in the event, projecting over ten lakh visitors. Special provisions are in place to enhance visitor experience, including compliance with plastic ban regulations.
