Saifabad Police Hold Youth for Reckless Bike Stunts Near Secretariat
HYDERABAD: Saifabad police on Friday arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly performing dangerous motorcycle stunts on busy public roads near Lumbini Park and the Telangana Secretariat to create social media reels.
The accused, identified as Ibrahim Baig, is a resident of Shankar Nagar in Old Malakpet. Police said he rode recklessly in high-security areas, causing panic among commuters and pedestrians.
Following specific inputs and surveillance, police traced Baig and took him into custody. The motorcycle used for the stunts was seized.
Earlier arrests reported at same location
Police said this is not an isolated incident. On September 24, two other persons were arrested for performing similar bike stunts at the same location.
Officials said such acts pose a serious risk to public safety and warned of strict action against those endangering lives for social media content.
