Hyderabad Traffic police issues advisory for Balkampet Bonalu

Hyderabad : On the occasion of Bonalu celebrations at the Balkampet temple, the Hyderabad Traffic has issued an advisory for the devotees in order to reduce the traffic congestion.
In an official note given by the Traffic police, it is said that “Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanam at Yellamma Pochamma Devasthanam, Balkampet will be held from July 8, 2024 to July 10, 2024. Large number of devotees will attend the Kalyanotsavam on July 9, 2024 and Rathotsavam on July 10, 2024. Moderate traffic congestion is expected due to devotees and their vehicles on the streets and in and around Yellamma Temple, Balkampet. The commuters are advised to take the following roads and avoid movement towards Balkampet Yellamma Temple.” Further diversion points for the general public are also released for the above said dates
Traffic from Green lands, Matha Temple, Satyam Theatre going towards Fateh Nagar will be diverted at SR Nagar T Junction towards SR Nagar Community Hall – Abilasha Towers – B.K Guda X Road – Towards Sriram Nagar X road – Sanath Nagar /Fateh Nagar Road.
Traffic coming from Fateh Nagar flyover and proceeding towards Balkampet will not be allowed and will be diverted at New Bridge towards Katta Mysamma Temple, Begumpet.
Traffic coming from Green Lands – Bakul Apartments – Food World will not be allowed towards Balkampet and will be diverted at Food World X roads towards Sonabai Temple – Satyam Theatre – Maitrivanam / SR Nagar T Junction.
Traffic coming from Begumpet, Katta Mysamma Temple and going towards Balkampet will not be allowed and it will be diverted towards Green lands – Matha Temple – Satyam Theatre – SR Nagar T Junction left turn to SR Nagar Community Hall.
It is to be noted that the bylanes and link roads from SR Nagar ‘T’ junction to Fateh Nagar will remain closed.
Further, devotes can park their vehicles at R & B Office near SR Nagar T Junction, GHMC ground near Food world X Road, Padma Shree to Nature Cure Hospital Road side parking, Nature Cure Hospital Parking, Parking under Fateh Nagar Railway bridge.
The Traffic police have requested the devotees to park their vehicles at the designated parking places only in an orderly fashion. The commuters are also requested to take alternative routes to reach their destinations to avoid traffic congestion.
