Hyderabad airport bags three ACI World recognitions for passenger experience

HYDERABAD: GMR Hyderabad International Airport has received three recognitions from Airports Council International (ACI) World for customer experience, accessibility and arrivals experience.
The recognitions include Level 5 under ACI World’s Airport Customer Experience Accreditation programme, Level 2 under its Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation programme and the 2025 ACI ASQ Customer Experience Award for “Best Airports at Arrivals Globally”.
The Level 5 customer experience accreditation is the highest level in ACI World’s framework. It recognises airports that integrate customer experience into their strategy, culture, operations, innovation and engagement with stakeholders.
The accessibility accreditation recognises efforts to provide an inclusive travel experience for passengers with reduced mobility and others with accessibility needs. ACI World says Level 2 involves an accessibility plan, governance framework and training, along with measures covering several disabilities and the passenger journey.
The airport also received the ACI ASQ Customer Experience Award 2025 for “Best Airports at Arrivals Globally”. The award is based on passenger feedback collected through ACI’s Airport Service Quality (ASQ) programme. ACI World lists Rajiv Gandhi International Airport among the global winners in the arrivals category.
The recognitions highlight the airport’s focus on passenger experience, accessibility and service standards.
