HYDERABAD: Team Nudge emerged winner of Youngpreneurs 2026 at The Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, while Team FinZe won the Best Elevator Pitch Award at the sixth edition of the school’s annual Business Plan Pitch Competition.

Students from Classes X to XII took part in the competition, working in cross-grade teams to develop business ideas through market research, ideation and feasibility analysis.

Five finalist teams pitch ideas across diverse sectors

Five teams — FinZe, Kriti-Fi, Astera, Nudge and Skia — reached the final round and presented their business concepts before an expert jury.

The ideas covered financial literacy, Indian mythology-based comics, student well-being, career guidance and youth-led brand building.

The final round was judged by Vineel Nalla, founder of 50K Ventures, and Sharath Anand, managing director of Shivam Medisoft Services Pvt. Ltd. The jury evaluated the teams on creativity, confidence, clarity of thought and understanding of business fundamentals.

Principal highlights real-world focus of entrepreneurship programme

Dr. S. Narasimha Reddy, principal of The Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, said Youngpreneurs was aimed at taking entrepreneurship education beyond the classroom.

“Youngpreneurs is an important part of our effort to move entrepreneurship education beyond the classroom and into real-world application. What stands out is the students’ willingness to research, question, collaborate and take ownership of their ideas,” he said.

“Through this platform, we want our students to understand that entrepreneurship is not merely about starting a business; it is about identifying opportunities, solving problems and creating meaningful value for society. The confidence and maturity demonstrated by this year’s participants are truly encouraging,” Reddy added.

The school said the competition was aligned with its entrepreneurship curriculum for Classes XI and XII and was designed to help students turn ideas into viable business concepts.

The event also focused on experiential learning, problem-solving, innovation and leadership skills among students.
