HMWSSB seizes seven illegal motors in Vijayanagar Colony
HYDERABAD: The vigilance wing of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) seized seven motors being illegally used to draw water during supply hours in Vijayanagar Colony on Friday.
Vigilance team conducts hour-long inspection in Chintal Circle
The vigilance team conducted special inspections in Vijayanagar Colony of Rangareddy Nagar ward under Chintal Circle from 9.30am to 10.30am on August 7.
During the inspection, officials identified seven motors being used in violation of Water Board rules and seized them.

HMWSSB said using motors to draw water during supply hours could prevent other consumers from receiving adequate water.
The Water Board warned consumers against using illegal motors and said action would be taken against those violating the rules.
