HMDA eyes ₹300 crore from Mokila plot auction
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) will auction 100 residential plots at Mokila in Shankarpally mandal of Rangareddy district over two days beginning Monday, after raising ₹120 crore by selling 63 plots at Medipally.
The authority has developed 1,293 residential plots on 65.37 guntas of land in Survey No. 96/P. The plots are suitable for apartment and independent house construction and measure between 300 and 500 square yards. The upset price has been fixed at ₹50,000 per square yard.
Layout offers 100-foot roads and civic infrastructure
HMDA has provided roads, electricity, underground drainage, water supply, an overhead tank, stormwater drains and street lighting in the layout. A key feature is its 100-foot-wide internal roads, with six other 100-foot roads in the surrounding area.
The layout has connectivity to Radial Road 7 and offers access to Kokapet’s Neopolis business district and Wipro. The Financial District can be reached in about 20 minutes, while the site is located close to Outer Ring Road Exit 2. These connectivity advantages are expected to attract strong demand.
Premium location expected to drive bidding
HMDA expects the plots to receive a strong response as several premium gated communities, hotels, educational institutions including Indus International School, CBIT and MGIT are located nearby. The authority estimates the auction could generate at least ₹300 crore in revenue.
