Hi-tech City railway station’s makeover design will leave you awestruck
Hyderabad: Hi-tech City Railway Station in Hyderabad is one of the few railway stations undergoing a makeover under the ‘Naya Bharat Naya Station’ initiative of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS). Malakpet, Malkajgiri, Hafeezpet and Begumpet are among the other railway stations being redeveloped by the Railway department.
Recently, Union minister G Kishan Reddy shared the proposed design of the Hi-tech City Railway Station.
Taking to X, Kishan Reddy wrote, “Hi-tech City Railway Station in Telangana is being redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at an estimated cost of ₹26.6 crore.
Modern infrastructure and enhanced facilities reflect a significant step towards transforming the station into a modern transit hub.”

In these pics, the railway station looks truly international. The images of the ultra-modern railway station have since gone viral on social media.
Other important railway stations, such as Begumpet and Malakpet, are also being redeveloped along similar lines. The railway authorities have earlier stated that MMTS stations at these locations are closer to Metro stations and therefore, both the stations will have an integrated transfer point.
