Heineken opens global capability centre in Hyderabad, to create 1,600 jobs

HYDERABAD: State IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Wednesday inaugurated HEINEKEN Business Services India, the Global Capability Centre (GCC) of Heineken, in the Financial District of Hyderabad.
Spread across 76,000 square feet, the centre will function as a strategic global hub, delivering services across finance, digital, technology and analytics.
Global hub to strengthen Hyderabad’s GCC ecosystem
Officials said the new facility would strengthen Hyderabad’s position as a leading destination for Global Capability Centres. The GCC model has gained traction as multinational firms centralise key operations in India.
The centre is expected to generate over 300 high-value jobs in the initial phase. Employment is projected to scale up to 1,600 in the coming years.
Heineken expands footprint with India operations
With a legacy of more than 150 years, Heineken is among the world’s largest brewing companies. Its products are available in over 190 countries, and it operates more than 165 breweries across 70 countries.
The establishment of the Hyderabad centre marks a significant step in expanding its global operations through India.
