Hayathnagar Kuntloor faces tension over road encroachment
HYDERABAD: Tension prevailed in Kuntloor under Hayathnagar police station limits after residents complained of alleged road encroachment in a gated community.
Based on complaints filed with HYDRAA, officials arrived on Wednesday with bulldozers to carry out demolitions in the Prajay Gulmohar gated community.
Residents block entry as HYDRAA begins demolition drive
Residents of the gated community blocked HYDRAA officials at the entrance and did not allow them inside. Officials insisted on proceeding with the demolition and attempted to enter the premises.
Police deployed after two-hour standoff at gated community
The situation led to a standoff that continued for nearly two hours. Police and HYDRAA personnel were deployed in large numbers at the site.
Officials later proceeded with the demolition, according to information.
