Harithavanam, KRCR Colonies’ Ganesh Chaturthi ends with grand laddu auction in Bachupally
Hyderabad: As Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations come to an end, devotees are bidding farewell to Lord Ganesha with heartfelt devotion, eagerly awaiting next year’s festivities. The grand laddu auction held at Harithavanam Colony and KRCR Colony in Bachupally was a highlight of the concluding celebrations. The Ganesh idol immersion for Harithavanam Colony and KRCR Colony in Bachupally will take place tonight.
In a remarkable display of devotion and enthusiasm, Corporator Vijayalakshmi and her husband Subba Rao secured the Ganesh Laddu (Maha Prasadam) for an impressive Rs. 3,24,000. The auction, which took place on the final day of the Ganpati Navratri festival 2024, was organised by the Harithavanam Colony and KRCR Colony Welfare Associations.
This year, a special auction exclusively for women was also held. Anuradha Krishna Mohan (Arnee Abord) won the women’s laddu with a bid of Rs. 2,75,000.
Additionally, the inaugural youth special laddu auction saw Dabbara Harshavardhan (son of Asha Ramanaidu, Sai Residency) acquire the youth laddu for Rs. 1,26,000. Soumya Pawan Kumar (Durga Homes) won the silver kalasham, a traditional element of the celebrations, for Rs. 74,000.
The Harithavanam Colony Welfare Association and KRCR Colony Welfare Association extended their special thanks to all participants who contributed to the success of the auctions and the Ganpati Navratri festivities.
