HYDERABAD: BRS leader heads to Gun Park over Gurukul tender allegations
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Harish Rao was detained by police outside Telangana Bhavan on Thursday after he attempted to march to Gun Park.
Harish Rao said he was heading to Gun Park only to hold a discussion on his allegations of corruption in Gurukul tender allocations. He requested the police to allow him to proceed.

Before setting out, Harish Rao telephoned Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Mohammed Azharuddin and Adluri Laxman Kumar in the presence of the media. However, none of them answered the calls.
Harish Rao then began walking towards Gun Park. Police stopped him on the way and took him into custody. He staged a sit-in protest at the spot before police escorted him into a vehicle.
