Hanumakonda Fire Kills Father, Daughter; Family Suspects Foul Play

HYDERABAD: A 54-year-old man and his 24-year-old daughter were burnt alive under suspicious circumstances at Rajiv Gruhakalpana in Kadipikonda village of Kazipet mandal in Hanumakonda district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Rajashekhar (54) and his daughter Rajasri (24).
According to initial reports, Rajashekhar caught fire inside the house. Rajasri sustained severe burns while attempting to rescue him. Both died on the spot.
Family alleges involvement of son-in-law in incident
The incident took a serious turn after family members alleged foul play. They suspected that Rajasri’s husband may have been involved in setting them on fire.
At the time of the incident, he was reportedly outside the house with the children. He later alerted locals about the fire.
Police officials visited the scene, collected evidence and registered a case.

Investigators are examining the circumstances leading to the fire and verifying the allegations made by the family.
