Four Telangana Residents Die In Road Crash At Hallikhed, Karnataka

HYDERABAD: Four residents of Telangana were killed and one sustained serious injuries when a van and a car collided at Hallikhed in Karnataka.

Police said the victims were identified as Naveen (40), Rachappa (45), Kashinath (60), and Nagaraju (40), all from Jagannathpur village in Narayankhed mandal of Sangareddy district.

Pilgrims returning from Ganagapur temple killed in crash

The group was returning home after offering prayers at the Dattatreya temple in Ganagapur when the accident occurred. The impact was severe, leaving the front portion of the car completely mangled.

Two others travelling in the car sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The bodies of the deceased were shifted for post-mortem examination.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
