Group clash over religious song leads to tension in Uppal, Hyderabad
UPPAL: Tension escalated in the Uppal area of Hyderabad after a group engaged in a dispute over a religious song in Chengicharla on Sunday night.
According to reports, the Uppal police had to resort to a lathi charge to control the situation after a group of men clashed in Pittal Basti over the religious song. Several individuals were reportedly injured in the incident.
The incident took place amidst Holi celebrations, where a disagreement arose between two groups during prayers at a mosque. According to police, one group used loudspeakers to play songs with a DJ during Namaz prayers.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad Telangana Pracharak, Pagudakula Balaswamy, and other leaders visited Chengicherla on Monday to express solidarity against the Groups clash in Uppal.
