GHMC Announces 90% Interest Waiver on Pending Property Tax for 2025–26
HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has announced a 90% waiver on interest for pending property tax dues for the financial year 2025–26 under its One Time Settlement (OTS) scheme.
Property owners can clear their outstanding dues and avail the waiver by March 31.
The civic body allows taxpayers to pay their dues through several channels. These include the official GHMC website, the MyGHMC and MyCURE mobile apps, MeeSeva centres, and Citizen Service Centres across the city.
Scheme to boost compliance and revenue
Officials said the scheme aims to encourage taxpayers to clear pending dues. It also helps reduce the burden of accumulated interest.
They urged residents to use this limited-time opportunity. Paying property tax on time will support civic infrastructure and development projects in Hyderabad.
