GHMC gets New commissioner, IAS rejig in state

Hyderabad: IAS rejig necessitated by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT)directions for some IAS officers who are working in Telangana to report to Andhra Pradesh(AP) after rejecting their application.Telangana government transfers Six IAS officers in the state.
IAS officers directed to report in AP include Vakati Karuna, Amrapali Kata, Srujana Gummala, A. Vani Prasad, Siva Shankar, Hari Kiran, and Ronald Rose. On Wednesday, the Government of Telangana transferred and placed Ilambarithi K. as Full Additional Charge(FAC) of the post of Commissioner, GHMC.
Subsequently, the following officers are placed in Full Additional Charge- N.Sridhar, IAS, Prl. Secretary to Government, SCD Department, is placed in FAC of the post of Prl. Secretary to Government, YAT&C Department and Director of Archaeology. Sandeep Kumar Sultania, IAS, Prl. Secretary to Government, Finance Dept., is placed in FAC of the post of Secretary to Government, Energy Department and CMD, Genco & Transco. Dr. Christina Z.Chongthu, IAS, Secretary to Government, HM & FW Department, is placed in FAC of the post of Director, AYUSH. Dr. T.K.Sreedevi, IAS,Commissioner, SCD, is placed in FAC of the post of Secretary to Government, WCD & SC Department, and R.V.Karnan, IAS, Director, Health & Family Welfare, is placed in FAC of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Aarogyasri Health Care Trust.
High Court refused to intervene
Earlier, a group of IAS officers filed a lunch motion petition in the Telangana High Court challenging the CAT’s orders ontheir cadre reallocation. They sought a stay on the CAT verdict, which they claimed threatened their retention in the state of Telangana. The High Court refused to intervene.
