GHMC Commissioner reviews SIR-2026 voter enumeration drive in Jubilee Hills
Hyderabad: District Election Officer and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner R.V. Karnan inspected the ongoing house-to-house Enumeration Form distribution under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 at Gyani Zail Singh Nagar in Film Nagar, within the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency, on Thursday.
Zonal Commissioner B. Santosh accompanied him during the inspection.
Citizens urged to verify electoral details
Karnan reviewed the field-level activities and the door-to-door distribution process being carried out by Booth Level Officers (BLOs). He also interacted with residents and created awareness about the SIR-2026 exercise, urging them to verify their electoral details and actively participate in the revision process.
The District Election Officer instructed BLOs to ensure timely distribution of Enumeration Forms, complete household coverage, accurate verification of elector details, and strict adherence to the Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines.

Officials told to ensure no eligible voter is left out
Karnan directed all election functionaries to carry out the revision exercise with diligence and transparency to ensure that no eligible voter is left out during the Special Intensive Revision-2026.
