Gachibowli car crash kills two youths
GACHIBOWLI: Two young men were killed after the car they were travelling in crashed into a pillar of the Neopolis bridge on the Outer Ring Road service road late Friday night.
Car crashes into bridge pillar
The deceased were identified as Kanaiyalal, 25, and Deram, 24, both from Rajasthan. They lived in Indira Reddy Nagar under the Kollur police station limits and worked as tile workers.
The two left Indira Reddy Nagar in a car for Nanakramguda late Friday night.
When they reached the Neopolis bridge, the car went out of control and crashed into a bridge pillar beside the road.
The front portion of the car was badly damaged in the impact. Kanaiyalal and Deram suffered severe injuries and died at the spot.
Police suspect overspeeding
Police said preliminary investigation indicated that overspeeding caused the accident.
A case has been registered and an investigation is under way.
