Future City Global Summit concludes in Kandukur

HYDERABAD: The Global Summit organised by the Telangana government at Future City concluded on Saturday after four days of events involving industrialists, investors, students and the public.
Government stalls draw strong public response
The summit was held on September 8 and 9 with the participation of entrepreneurs and investors. From September 10 to 13, students and the general public were allowed to visit the venue. Government stalls set up alongside the main stage emerged as a major attraction for visitors.
Senior officials oversee closing events
On the concluding day, FCDA Commissioner Shashank, Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) Chairman and Managing Director Musharraf Farooqi, and SPEEDI Chief Executive Officer E V Narasimha Reddy supervised the proceedings.
Focus on agriculture and rural–urban integration
A discussion on “Present practices for future prosperity and strategies to increase farmers’ income” featured Farmer Commission chairman Kodanda Reddy, Centre for Sustainable Agriculture director G V Ramanjaneyulu, retired IAS officer M V Reddy, former YSR Horticultural University vice-chancellor Dr S E Shikhamany, Farmers Corporation founder C S Reddy and agribusiness and agritech expert Vijay Nadiminti.
Another panel discussed connecting rural Telangana with urban regions, with participation from D Rajireddy and former MLA N Narasimha Reddy. Farmer association leaders Anvesh Reddy, Nalla Venkateshwarlu and model woman farmer Lavanya also took part in an agriculture-focused discussion.
Singer Mangli entertained the audience with songs, while artists presented cultural performances, which drew large crowds on the final day.
