Ex-rebel Devji clears Intermediate, bags 349th rank in LAWCET
HYDERABAD: Former Maoist leader Tippiri Tirupati, popularly known as Devji, has cleared the Intermediate Second Year examination with an aggregate of 614 marks after passing the Advanced Supplementary examination.
Devji, who gave up armed struggle and returned to mainstream life, recently appeared for the Intermediate Second Year Telugu examination, which he had been unable to complete earlier. He was permitted to take the examination after obtaining special approval from higher authorities.
According to the results announced on Wednesday, Devji secured 72 marks in Telugu and successfully cleared the subject. With this, his total score in Intermediate stands at 614 marks.
Education milestone after leaving armed struggle
The achievement marks another milestone in Devji’s academic journey after he chose education over insurgency. His success in completing Intermediate comes years after he left the Maoist movement and resumed his studies.

In another notable achievement, Devji recently secured 349th rank in the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET), reflecting his continued academic progress.
His performance in both the Intermediate examination and LAWCET has drawn attention as an example of rehabilitation through education and integration into mainstream society.
