Food Safety Inspections Musheerabad

Hyderabad: A Task Force from the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana, conducted inspections in the Musheerabad area on August 20, 2024, and uncovered multiple food safety violations at local food establishments.

Secret Kitchen, Padmarao Nagar, Secunderabad

During an inspection at Secret Kitchen, officials found some compliance issues. Although the FSSAI license was displayed, and food handlers were seen wearing hair caps, aprons, and gloves, the kitchen window was open to the outside without an insect-proof screen, and water stagnation was observed in the drain. Medical Fitness Certificates for food handlers were not available, though pest control records were present, and dustbins were properly covered with lids. Food articles inside the refrigerator were covered and labeled appropriately.

Inspectors discovered that the Golden Crown Multi-Cuisine Family Restaurant was operating without a valid FSSAI license. The food handlers were not wearing hair caps, aprons, or gloves. The kitchen was exposed to the outside environment with no insect-proof screen, and there was water stagnation near the cleaning area. The dustbins were found open without lids, and there were no Medical Fitness Certificates or pest control records available. Additionally, the ceiling and walls had plastering flakes and were greasy, and the packed biscuit packets at the billing counter lacked labels.

4M Biryani House Restaurant, Bholakpur, Musheerabad

The inspection of 4M Biryani House Restaurant revealed that although the FSSAI license was displayed at the billing counter and pest control records were maintained, there were still significant violations. Some food handlers were not wearing hair caps, aprons, or gloves. The kitchen premises were open to the outside without an insect-proof screen, dustbins were uncovered, and the flooring was slippery. Medical Fitness Certificates for food handlers were not provided, and semi-prepared food articles were not labeled or covered properly.
