Flood Disrupts Rail, Road Traffic in Kamareddy
Railway Tracks Damaged by Floods
Heavy rains in Kamareddy district led to overflowing streams and rivulets. In Ellareddy mandal, floodwater gushed under the railway track on the Kamareddy–Bikkanur route, causing serious damage. Railway authorities halted train services on this line to prevent any risk.
Roads and Colonies Submerged
Continuous rainfall left several areas in Kamareddy town submerged. Cars parked on roads were washed away in the floodwater. Traffic movement on the Bibipet–Kamareddy road came to a standstill as water overflowed onto the highway. In Housing Board Colony, floodwater entered houses, leaving residents facing severe inconvenience.
