First song from Dulquer Salman and Venky Atluri upcoming Telugu film Lucky Baskhar released
Hyderabad: Dulquer Salmaan, the Multi-lingual superstar known in Telugu cinema for blockbusters like Mahanati and Sita Ramam, now stars in another Telugu movie, Lucky Baskhar. The makers hail the movie as a ‘captivating character drama’. Directed by renowned filmmaker Venky Atluri, the film is produced by one of the top Telugu production houses, Sithara Entertainments on a grand scale.
The recently released teaser of Lucky Baskhar has heightened expectations showcasing Dulquer Salmaan at his charming best. Now, the makers have unveiled the first single ‘Srimathi Garu’ composed by national award-winning composer GV Prakash Kumar, on June 19th.
The song, sung beautifully by Vishal Mishra and Shwetha Mohan starts with captivating violin sections, transitions into a lilting flute melody and is enriched by drum beats adding grandeur to the composition.
Mastaaru Mastaaru magic to repeat?
Lyricist Shreemani’s words perfectly capture the tender affection of a husband for his angry wife, using phrases like ‘Chamanti navvu’ and ‘Paluke oo Vennapoosa’ to express deep love. GV Prakash Kumar’s live orchestration with expert use of flute, strings, and simple beats adds to the song’s appeal. Following the success of Mastaaru Mastaaru from SIR the collaboration of singer Shwetha Mohan, composer GV Prakash Kumar and director Venky Atluri delivers another endearing melody.
Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the leading lady opposite Dulquer Salmaan. Set in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Lucky Baskhar follows the journey of an ordinary bank cashier who achieves extraordinary success.
Ace cinematographer Nimish Ravi captures this journey in splendid style, while the talented Banglan contributes his expertise in production design. National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli handles the film’s editing. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments and Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas with Srikara Studios presenting this pan-India film will release in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Tamil languages worldwide.
