Fire breaks out near Shamshabad airport

Hyderabad: A fire broke out near the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad at around 5pm on Monday evening. Reportedly, the premises belonging to the Amara Raja battery factory were damaged in the incident.
According to the details provided by the Fire officials, the fire broke out at 5pm in the evening, while the first call was received by the Fire Control Room at 17:35. In the video now circulating on the internet, it can be seen that the terrace of the building is in flames.
Speaking to the Hyderabad Mail, the District Fire Officer, Purnachander said that the fire broke out in an under construction building and dozens of firemen are controlling the fire. โThree fire engines were turned to the spot and efforts are in place to control the situation,โ said the officer.
Meanwhile, the information regarding the loss of property and others is yet to be ascertained by the police.
