HYDERABAD: A fire broke out at the Forensic Science Laboratory in Nampally on Saturday, triggering panic among staff.
Fire starts in first-floor computer lab
The blaze reportedly began in the computer laboratory on the first floor and quickly spread to other parts of the building. Thick smoke billowed from the premises, forcing staff to rush out.
Five fire engines deployed
Fire and rescue personnel rushed to the spot after receiving information and are working with five fire engines to bring the flames under control. A short circuit is suspected to have caused the fire.
Senior police officers review situation
North Zone Deputy Inspector General Swetha and Khairatabad Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police Shilpavalli visited the site and reviewed the situation.
