Hyderabad: Fire breaks out at five-star hotel in Banjara Hills, SRH team evacuated safely

Hyderabad: A fire broke out at a five-star hotel in Banjara Hills in Hyderabad on Monday. The fire erupted on the first floor of the hotel and was confined within that area.
After receiving the information, the fire department in Jubilee Hills pressed the fire engines into service and the firefighting personnel extinguished the fire.
Visuals circulating on social media showed a plume of thick smoke emanating from the first floor of the Park Hyatt hotel located in the upscale Banjara Hills area. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the smoke was caused by the electrical wiring system on the first floor.
It is reported that the players and officials of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team were staying on the sixth floor of the hotel at the time of the incident. As soon as the hotel officials noticed the smoke coming out of the first floor, they evacuated the SRH team to a safe location. Similarly, other guests were also evacuated.
