Film Chamber sub-committee meets on percentage system
HYDERABAD: A sub-committee meeting of the Film Chamber began on Monday with Chamber president Suresh Babu, Film Development Corporation (FDC) chairman Dil Raju and other committee members in attendance.
Percentage system after Peddi release
Suresh Babu had earlier said the industry would implement the percentage system after the release of Peddi. The issue is expected to be discussed during the meeting.
Small films seek more screens
Megastar Chiranjeevi has also expressed support for a similar approach. Producers, meanwhile, are seeking a fifth show for small-budget films and want measures to ensure they do not face a shortage of theatres.
Several industry-related issues are expected to come up for discussion during the meeting.
