Hyderabad : The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has revised the FASTag Annual Pass fee to ₹3,075 for the financial year 2026–27. The new rate will come into effect from April 1, 2026.

The pass currently costs ₹3,000. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said the revision has been made in accordance with the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008.

The FASTag Annual Pass is available for eligible non-commercial vehicles equipped with a valid FASTag. It can be used at around 1,150 toll plazas located on national highways and expressways across India.

One-time payment replaces frequent toll recharges

The pass allows users to pay a one-time annual fee instead of recharging their FASTag regularly. It remains valid for one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever comes earlier.

The facility is designed mainly for frequent highway commuters, offering a simplified and cost-effective toll payment system.

According to the ministry, the annual pass is activated on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle within two hours after payment.

Available through app and official website

Users can purchase or renew the pass through the Rajmarg Yatra mobile application or the official website of the National Highways Authority of India.

“The annual pass gets activated within two hours on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle after payment of the one-time fee,” the ministry said.

The FASTag Annual Pass was introduced on August 15, 2025. NHAI said the scheme has gained traction among highway users, with more than 56 lakh vehicle owners currently using the facility.

Officials said the growing adoption reflects the convenience offered to regular travellers on national highways.
