Secunderabad: A family allegedly attempted to end their lives at the Taj 3 Star Hotel in Secunderabad on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

The police identified the individuals as Thota Bavanna, a resident of Mathura Nagar in Shamshabad, along with his wife Padmavati and their son Sujana.

According to reports, hotel staff noticed that the three individuals had become unconscious and immediately alerted the police.

They were rushed to a private hospital and are currently receiving treatment at Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad.

The reasons behind their suicide attempt have yet to be determined, and a clues team collected evidence from the hotel room. Preliminary investigations revealed that they had consumed a cold drink mixed with poison.

Earlier, it was reported that a man reportedly took his own life at the Medchal MPDO Office premises in Medchal-Malkajgiri district on Friday, September 6, 2024.
