Family found dead in Hyderabad’s Habsiguda

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident on March 10, 2025, a family was found dead in their home in Habsiguda, Hyderabad. The deceased have been identified as Chandrasekhar Reddy, his wife Kavitha, their daughter Sritha Reddy, a 9th-grade student, and their son Viswanathan Reddy, a 5th-grade student.
The police suspect the couple may have killed their children first and then ended their lives.
According to the reports, Chandrasekhar, who had previously worked as a lecturer at Narayana College, had been facing financial difficulties for the past six months. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are speaking with relatives to understand what led to this tragedy.
The bodies were discovered after neighbors alerted the police. An investigation is ongoing, and further details are awaited.
Earlier, a 20-year-old woman, Vijaya Gowri, was found dead in her home in BalReddy Nagar, Hyderabad, on the night of March 7, 2025. Gowri, a third-year BTech student, had married 24-year-old Eswara Rao on February 6, 2025.
Initial reports suggest the possibility of marital issues. A case has been registered, and the investigation is ongoing.
On March 3, 2025, 35-year-old software engineer Devika was found dead at her residence in Prashanthi Hills, Hyderabad. According to reports, her family suspects that she may have been facing harassment related to dowry demands, which might have led to her death.
Devika and her husband Satish had been married for six months. The couple reportedly had disagreements in recent months. On the night of March 2, after a heated argument, Devika locked herself in her room. The following morning, Satish found her unresponsive and alerted authorities.
Devika’s family has filed a complaint, and the Raidurgam police have opened an investigation into the incident.
