Family demands justice after man dies following snoring surgery in Sangareddy
Sangareddy: A 45-year-old man, V Srinivas, who had undergone surgery for severe snoring at a private hospital in Sangareddy, died a few hours after the procedure on February 19, 2025.
Srinivas, a resident of Garakurthi in Kondapur Mandal, sought medical help for his condition and underwent the surgery late Wednesday night. The doctors had assured him of a full recovery. However, he passed away shortly after the surgery, leading to protests from his family and relatives.
According to hospital authorities, Srinivas suffered a heart attack post-surgery. His family, however, alleges that his death was due to negligence during the operation.
The incident has sparked anger among the deceased’s relatives, who gathered at the hospital on Thursday, demanding justice. The Sangareddy police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
