Police Raid Fake Dental Clinic In Neredmet Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Police arrested a man posing as a dentist for nearly two decades in Neredmet on Tuesday.

The accused, identified as Ramesh, is a native of Uttar Pradesh. Officials said he had been running a dental clinic without any formal medical qualifications.

According to police, Ramesh had not completed his Class X education. Despite this, he allegedly presented himself as a qualified dentist and treated patients for years.

Late-night operations triggered suspicion among residents

Officials said the clinic functioned primarily during late-night hours until early morning. This unusual schedule raised suspicion among local residents.

Acting on these inputs, the Malkajgiri Special Operations Team (SOT) conducted a raid on the premises.

During the search, police confirmed that Ramesh lacked any recognised medical education and was illegally practising dentistry.

Probe on to assess scale of treatments and possible victims

Police have booked a case and launched an investigation. They are examining how the accused managed to operate undetected for nearly two decades.

Officials are also trying to determine the extent of treatments carried out on unsuspecting patients.
