Several reports on media platforms and social media claimed that Hyderabad Police had offered a job to iBomma Ravi. These stories went viral.
According to those narratives, senior police officials allegedly told him:
“Your intelligence should not go to waste. Will you join the police department and work in the Cybercrime wing? We will also give you a good salary.”
These stories further claimed that Ravi rejected the proposal.
They quoted him as supposedly saying:
“Even if iBomma shuts down, I will make my brand international. I will open a luxury restaurant in the Caribbean islands and name it ‘iBomma’. There, I will introduce people to popular dishes from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and other parts of the country. With the earnings, I will enjoy life freely.”
These claims appeared prominently in multiple Telugu YouTube channels and media outlets.
However, Telangana Police have categorically denied the rumour and confirmed that no job offer of any kind was made to iBomma Ravi.
