EFLU spearheads cyber security awareness with informative talk on Cyber Crimes

HYDERABAD: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) orchestrated a thought-provoking session named “Awareness on Cyber Crimes and Security” for faculty, students, and research scholars. The speaker, AK Divya, a forensic expert and trainer, urged participants to stay vigilant against cyber threats and emphasized the importance of proactive cyber security measures.
The talk covered various aspects, including password management, avoiding shared contact information for different purposes, setting limits for UPI transactions, adopting two-step authentication, and being cautious of phishing emails. Divya also stressed the significance of filing complaints promptly in case of fraud, providing helpful resources for victims.
The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, providing clarity on cyber fraud prevention. EFLU Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Surabhi Bharati presided over the event, with IQAC Director Prof. Revathi Srinivas coordinating the proceedings.
