ED Hyderabad to auction seized Hawker aircraft on December 9

HYDERABAD: The Directorate of Enforcement’s Hyderabad Zonal Office will auction a seized Hawker 800A aircraft on December 9, with the proceeds earmarked for restitution to victims of an alleged ₹792 crore investment scam.
Aircraft seized in PMLA case against Amardeep Kumar
According to ED, the aircraft (registration number N935H) is parked at Begumpet Airport and open for inspection until December 7. MSTC Limited will conduct the auction through its portal.
The aircraft was seized on March 7, 2025 during searches at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, in a case linked to Capital Protection Force Pvt Ltd, its chairperson Amardeep Kumar and associates.

Investors allegedly cheated through invoice discounting scheme
The money laundering probe is based on three FIRs registered on February 11, 2025 by the Economic Offence Wing, Cyberabad, against Falcon Group (Capital Protection Force Pvt Ltd), its CMD Amardeep Kumar and others for defrauding investors in a bogus invoice discounting scheme.
ED said its investigation showed that Kumar launched the scheme under the name “Falcon Invoice Discounting” and allegedly siphoned ₹792 crore from investors. He is reported to have fled the country in the same aircraft before the FIRs were filed and remains absconding.
The agency has so far provisionally attached assets worth ₹18.6 crore and arrested three accused: Kumar’s brother Sandeep Kumar, chartered accountant Sharad Chandra Toshniwal and Capital Protection Force COO Aryan Singh Chhabra. A prosecution complaint was filed before the Special PMLA Court, Rangareddy on September 29, 2025.
Adjudicating Authority allowed sale of aircraft
ED said Kumar purchased the aircraft in 2024 for USD 1.6 million. After the seizure, the agency moved the Adjudicating Authority under Rule 4(2) of the Prevention of Money Laundering (Taking Possession of Attached or Frozen Properties) Rules, 2013, seeking permission to sell the property on the grounds of high maintenance cost and risk of deterioration.
The authority confirmed the seizure on August 18, 2025 and, through an order dated November 20, 2025, allowed ED to auction the aircraft.
Further investigation is under way.
