Hyderabad: Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has announced the opening of online applications for ITI Trade apprenticeships at its Hyderabad facility. A total of 437 positions are available, including 17 reserved for persons with disabilities (PWD). If you’re interested in applying, here’s everything you need to know:

Details of the apprenticeship:
• Total number of positions: 437, including 17 seats reserved for persons with disabilities (PWD).
• Age requirements: Candidates must be at least 18 years old as of October 31, 2024. The maximum age limits are 25 years for General candidates, 28 years for OBC candidates, and 30 years for SC/ST candidates. PWD candidates are eligible for an additional 10-year age relaxation.
Eligibility criteria:
• Essential qualification: ITI Pass Certificate (NCVT) in the relevant trade.
• Duration: The apprenticeship will last for one year, starting from November 1, 2024.
Selection process:
• Selection method: Based on ITI marks merit.
• Seat allocation: 70% of positions are reserved for Government ITI students and 30% for Private ITI students.

How to apply:
1. Eligibility: Applicants must be residents of Telangana State.
2. Step 1: Register on the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) portal at http://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
3. Step 2: Submit the online application through the ECIL website: http://www.ecil.co.in, under ‘Careers’ and ‘Current Job Openings.’
Important information:
• Applications will only be accepted through the ECIL website.
• The online application window will be open from September 13, 2024, at 10:30 hrs to September 29, 2024, at 23:59 hrs.
• After applying, candidates should print their application form and note the system-generated serial number.
• No separate notifications will be sent regarding non-selection.
• Applications with incorrect details may be rejected, and any falsified information will result in immediate disqualification.
Documents required for verification:
• Online application form with signature and a recent passport-size photo.
• Original documents and photocopies, including MSDE registration, date of birth, identity proof (Government. issued), educational qualifications, and latest caste and disability certificates (if applicable).
• Category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/Non-Creamy Layer/EWS) as per the format provided on the ECIL website.
