Dubai road crash kills three from Jagtial
JAGTIAL: Three residents of Jagtial district were killed in a road accident in Dubai, leaving their families in grief.

The deceased were identified as Gollapalli Tirupati (23) of Takkallapalli village in Malyala mandal, Syed Saleem (51) of Namilikonda village in Kodimyala mandal, and Abdul Rafiq (37) of Gajulapet in Metpally town. The three had travelled to Dubai for wage work to support their families.
According to information received by their families, the workers were travelling to their workplace in a bus with fellow labourers on Monday when the vehicle developed a technical fault and stopped in the middle of the road. A speeding mini-truck then rammed into the bus.
Families mourn loss of breadwinners
Seven people were reportedly killed in the accident. Among them were Tirupati, Saleem and Rafiq.
Tirupati, who had completed Intermediate education, had moved to Dubai eight months ago. His mother Vajramma works as a beedi worker, while his father Chandraiah runs a chicken centre.
Saleem is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter. Family sources said he had planned to arrange his daughter’s marriage after returning from the Gulf next year.
Rafiq is survived by his wife Razia Begum and their four-year-old daughter Rida.
The deaths have cast a pall of gloom over the affected families and their native places in Jagtial district.
